Not everyone has an Earth Fare or equivalent close to them. Certainly, lots of people cannot budget the purely organic stores and choose their foods as discounted as they can. Nothing wrong with this as achieving wellness is more about smart choices and not about how much you can spend.
Even Walmart carries some organic produce and the new 5-digit SKU codes on fruits and vegetables beginning with a nine are organic whether the department manager has labeled them with an in-store sign or not. What’s more, just because it’s not organic is little cause to refuse it.
Scout out your food sources using your senses. Does it smell okay? Does it taste good? Did eating it make me feel okay?
The biggest concern, I have found, in selecting produce is whether it’s getting misted with tap water. I’d rather have my veggies slightly wilted than loaded down with chemicals.
I am also comfortable with buying my own essential nutrients and oils on margin, like fish oil or frankincense. (I’m planning on doing an entire blog on this one).
Please share my site with your friends and family. This is a community service blog site and your help in getting the word out is greatly appreciated.
