I hope all of you live long enough to realize the full advantage that comes with a daily fish oil habit. I was fortunate enough, by virtue of black mold sensitivities, to have all of the arteries and veins above my hips to be scanned in 2008; that was after 10 years of regular use. The wonderful thing here comes in what was not found. No arterial build-up whatsoever!
On the contrary, I am a big man with a diet that needs much improvement. But I take 3000 mg of fish oil every day and this goes to the core of my doctrine where wellness is for everyone; to make the best of what you have now. Doctors were amazed at my arterial images all being absent of any arteriosclerosis and I can only attribute this to the oil. Today I am at further CV risk being confined to a wheelchair but I have faith in the medicine I have prescribed for myself. Also, notably, my blood cholesterol is practically perfect.
Another surprising use of fish oil came to my attention recently when a friend was bothered with painful wrists and fingers, somewhat like carpal tunnel syndrome but she didn’t have the work history for it. My first instinct was fish oil as I perceived nerve involvement in her condition and it serves to reinforce the myelin sheath surrounded nerves. I also did a quick research on the fish oil just to cover my bases. Sure enough, she got better really fast taking the oil orally.
As this blog expands, there will be many other uses and associated stories of how fish oil improves wellness.
